Frosty Monday morning

25 degrees and crispy-clear.

It's Garbage Day.

From WKTV: "High pressure will finally clear us out today. Plenty of sunshine expected this afternoon, with highs climbing into the low 40s across most areas.

Our next storm system will bring a heavy rainfall to Central New York. Clouds increase ahead of the storm tonight. The rain begins tomorrow afternoon and continues through Wednesday. Total rainfall will range between 2-3", with the potential for some flooding in areas that saw heavy snow over the weekend.

Despite the wet weather, temperatures will remain above normal over the next few days, with highs in the 40s. Cooler weather arrvives behind the mid week storm, with temperatures settling back into the 30s with lake effect snow showers Thursday through Saturday."

(I didn't find a score from the "Alumni Tournament" - check The Waterville Times, tomorrow!)

I wasn't here for the Parade of Lights, on Friday evening, but I understand that there were "the biggest crowds ever" and that the parade was "the best ever!"

You can get an idea of that from seeing these photographs. Thank you, everyone, for sending them!

Cathy and Sarah Burbules-Sexton were in town and sent lots of pictures from Cathy's iPhone
taken during the Parade ................ and ...........

............ at the Historical Society.

Diane Marceau sent me some from the Parade of Lights Committee, and Jody Hildreth wrote to tell me that I could use any of the pictures that he had taken and posted on his facebook page! The next are his. Thank You, Jody!
